WHAT DOES THE GILWELL LOG MEAN?
Gilwell Turkey rolled up his sleeves to create the Gilwell Leaders Log , which has been neglected in our country for a long time.
This type of logbook has many benefits and importance. As we said in the Gilwell Handbook , Gilwell Turkey will serve as a social solidarity organization while generating ideas and putting them into practice.
Again, as we have stated under various headings in the Gilwell Handbook and on our website, the records of Gilwellians as healthy since 1954 have not been collected in a log.
Unfortunately, the commutes between National Education, Youth and Sports were not considered as parts of a whole.
However, we are a unity!
In the last two decades, Scouting, let alone being a Gilwellian, has been completely ignored in National Education, and the last records have been destroyed.
We can easily say the same for the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
HOW MANY ARE WE?
We know that we are not few.
The number of people who have received Wood Badge and TTT trainings since 1954 in our country, both at home and abroad, is not to be underestimated. We are sure of that.
As Gilwell Turkey, we would like to register all leaders who have received 2 Beads and 3 Beads training in the past, on the Gilwell Register, which we will create without any discrimination.
We do this for many reasons:
First of all, our heart does not allow any labor to perish. We also think that all values should translate into work. And of course , with our many unique values and rituals, we Gilwellians are unlike any other organization. In order to keep these values alive, we need to be aware of each other.
WHO CAN ENROLL?
Leaders who have attended 2 and 3 Beads Training and 4 Beads seminars, on any date, in any organization, can be included in the Gilwell Log.
All you have to do for this is to share a valid certificate with our General Secretariat.
You may have lost your certificate. In this case we You can also share a photo of you showing your board markers at the training you attended or at another date.
Our aim is to see all possible wooden sign holders in the Gilwelli Leaders' Logbook and to meet them at least under a social roof.
