Founders of Gilwell Association, Turkey to the past

While they were reading, the year 1954 was very important for Scouting.

They found it to be one year.

 

There had been Turkish leaders who had studied Gilwell before.

but this important training is the first time on Turkish soil.

It was given in 1954.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Loyalty to the past is in the spirit of Scouting. Without a past, there is no future. With this in mind, the founders of the Gilwell Association decided to add 1954 next to the name Gilwell Turkey, to mean "GILWELL OF THIS LAND".  

This behavior is undoubtedly  It was a debt of loyalty, but it was also a return to roots.

 

During the intervening seventy years, Turkey Scouting had unfortunately become a ball of problems to be solved. A new move, in other words, the spirit of 1954, was needed to untangle this tangle.  

This is exactly why it was decided to emphasize the year 1954.
